What is PaiSLEY?+

PaiSLEY is an AI hiring platform from HeitechSoft. It parses resumes, generates tailored screening questions, evaluates candidates against the job description, and helps HR teams build interview-ready shortlists in minutes while keeping every final decision with a human reviewer.

Is PaiSLEY a full applicant tracking system?+

Yes. PaiSLEY covers the full hiring workflow: job creation and posting, candidate intake, screening, AI scoring, HR review, candidate communication, and analytics. It's an ATS with AI built in, not an AI bolt-on for a legacy ATS.

Who is PaiSLEY for?+

Small and mid-sized businesses, HR consultancies, growing companies hiring across multiple functions, and compliance-focused organizations. Essentially: any team that wants enterprise-grade screening power without enterprise-grade complexity or cost.

Does PaiSLEY replace recruiters?+

No. PaiSLEY is decision support, not a decision-maker. Every recommendation is reviewable and overridable, and every override is logged. Recruiters spend less time on repetitive screening and more time on interviews, conversations, and judgment calls.

How the AI works

How does PaiSLEY score candidates?+

Each candidate is evaluated across their resume, cover letter, screening answers, and optional video introduction. PaiSLEY produces a cumulative 0 to 100 score plus an executive summary, strengths with evidence, concerns and risks, resume-to-video discrepancies, and a Proceed, Review, or Reject recommendation.

What models does PaiSLEY use?+

PaiSLEY supports multiple AI providers, including OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, and ElevenLabs. Admins can map each feature (resume parsing, scoring, transcription, drafting, clarification questions) to a different provider and model based on cost, latency, and accuracy needs.

Can I customize how candidates are scored for a specific job?+

Yes. Each job can carry custom AI scoring instructions that weight specific skills, certifications, or experience higher. You can also configure per-job screening questions (free text, multiple choice, or scale) and AI clarification questions.

What's discrepancy detection?+

PaiSLEY cross-references statements in the video transcript against claims in the resume and screening answers. Mismatches get flagged in the candidate profile so reviewers can investigate.

How is PaiSLEY priced?+

PaiSLEY uses flat, predictable pricing. No per-seat or per-candidate fees. Pricing is sized to your hiring volume and deployment model. Talk to us for a quote tailored to your team.

Why no per-seat licensing?+

Per-seat pricing punishes the behaviour you want: more reviewers, more hiring managers, more accountability. PaiSLEY's pricing model lets every relevant person stay in the loop without a procurement conversation.

Is there a free trial?+

We don't run a self-serve free trial. Instead, we run a personalized demo with one of your real job postings so you can see PaiSLEY against your own data before committing.

Security, privacy & compliance

Where is candidate data stored?+

Managed deployments store data in dedicated, branded environments. Self-hosted deployments run entirely on your infrastructure (Docker-based). Either way, your data is not pooled with other customers.

Is PaiSLEY GDPR-friendly?+

Yes. PaiSLEY supports candidate-initiated withdrawal that triggers full data deletion or anonymization, and audit logs capture every status change, AI recommendation, and override for defensible record-keeping.

Who can see what?+

Role-based access control with Applicant, HR Consultant, and Super Admin roles. Consultants only see candidates for jobs explicitly assigned to them. Session durations, OTP expiry, and rate limits are all configurable.

How are videos and resumes protected?+

Media files are stored in object storage and served via short-lived presigned URLs (15-minute expiration). They're never publicly accessible. Every access goes through portal authentication.

Deployment & integration

Can PaiSLEY be self-hosted?+

Yes. PaiSLEY ships with full Docker support, a worker process for background AI jobs, a health-check endpoint, and environment-based configuration for SMTP, storage, and AI provider keys.

Does PaiSLEY integrate with my careers page?+

Yes. A public API (bearer-token authenticated) exposes published jobs so you can sync them into your existing careers page. Admin-generated tokens are revocable and permission-scoped.

How do candidates apply?+

Either by clicking through a sharable invite link (with optional campaign tracking) or via your careers page that lists jobs from the public API. Passwordless authentication via email OTP or magic link keeps the experience friction-free.

What about email?+

PaiSLEY uses your SMTP provider and includes branded email templates for OTP, application receipts, rejections, interview invites, message notifications, and analysis-ready alerts. All emails carry secure links into the portal, never sensitive data in the body.
